Incubator
An incubator for queen cells serves as a brood incubator for developing queen bees. In this device, young queens can be cared for outside the hive under controlled conditions until they emerge. Among beekeepers, several terms are used: some refer to it as a queen rearing box or a queen bee brood box, while in older terminology the term queen brood chamber (“Weisel” being the traditional word for the queen) or simply incubator is also used. All these names ultimately describe the same principle: a temperature-stable container that enables precise development of queen cells.
