Buy bee swarms - gentle Carnica bees for your beekeeping.

We focus on sustainability and peacefulness in our bee swarms, so we only have bees of the Carnica and Buckfast breeds for you in our assortment. Both come with individual advantages, so you can consider in advance exactly which type of bee suits you better. Carnica bees are characterized by a particularly peaceful and gentle character, which has proven itself in everyday life, especially for new beekeepers and beginners. At the same time, they are particularly productive and powerful, so the result of good beekeeping is also rewarded with large quantities of delicious honey. The Carnica bee is a completely naturally evolved subspecies of the Western honey bee, originally native to Austria and Yugoslavia, but now also found in Germany and other parts of Europe. The combination of special performance, peacefulness and heat and winter resistance makes it one of the most popular bee breeds in the world.

The bee swarms from Bienenzucht Profi always contains a young, already mated queen, which was always born in the current year. You will always receive queen bees from us as direct offspring of pure-bred queens, so that the lineage is completely traceable. For the coloring we always use the current year color, so that you can see at first glance from which year the queen bee of the bee swarm comes. If you buy a bee swarm in our online store, we will send it in the selected period by practical express shipping in specially designed boxes. The queen bee is always delivered in a separate additional cage, which contains food and some accompanying bees. Carnica bees from the Bienenzucht Profi online store are available either mated or station mated. If you have any questions, you can of course contact our customer service, which will be happy to advise you on the breed. A bee swarm always consists of 1.5 kg of bees and a queen - but of course larger quantities of bees are available upon request. Please note, however, that these are living creatures that cannot be reproduced in infinite quantities. Therefore, it is advisable to order the Carnica bee swarm at an early stage, so that we can plan accordingly and target a timely delivery at the desired time.

Buy a Buckfast bee colony or a bee swarm and bet on longevity

The bee species " Buckfast " has also been able to establish itself over time. This is due in no small part to their particular hardiness, which makes them especially popular with experienced beekeepers. At the same time, Buckfast bee nucs are also gentle and therefore ideal for beginners. In terms of performance and yield, Buckfast bees are in no way inferior to the Carnica subspecies - even the hybrid Buckfast bee is capable of producing large quantities of honey if the appropriate conditions are met. The Buckfast bees feel particularly well in a hive with medium temperatures, but are also very robust in severe heat or cold. After successfully surviving winters, the Buckfast bee is able to quickly build up a new colony and thus provide fantastic honey in the coming year as well.

When you buy a swarm of bees in the Bienenzucht Profi Online Shop, you will receive a total of 1.5 kg of bees plus the queen, but larger order quantities are of course no problem. Please note, however, that only a limited supply of Buckfast bee colonies are available - therefore you should order early enough so that we can plan our capacities and make timely delivery possible. Our tip: Larger order quantities are additionally rewarded with a practical quantity discount, which is automatically deducted from your amount during the purchase process. This way, you not only benefit from particularly healthy, fit and high-yielding bees, but also from fair conditions when purchasing bee swarms.

Buy station mated or mated bee swarms

Buckfast bees or Carnica bees can be purchased online with either a queen bee that has been station mated or mated. While mated bee swarms can be purchased only from about the second half of April, station mated bee swarms can be purchased much earlier. The difference in both types of mating is mainly relevant for the own breeding. While mated queens are mated on their own stand by other drones and an exact breeding selection is hardly verifiable or possible, a station mated site is set up especially for mating with drones of the same bee breed to enable the purest and most unadulterated breeding of honey bees. Which type of mated queens you choose when buying a bee swarm is, of course, up to you.

Species-appropriate shipping and transport after buying a bee swarm

We want our healthy and vital animals to reach you safely - therefore we focus on a particularly safe shipping of our bee swarms and queens. We use only specially designed boxes, which allow an optimal air supply and supply of food and water.
