Incubation of Queen Bees under Controlled Conditions

The incubators allow the controlled completion of the queen cell development cycle from the fifth day after grafting until shortly before emergence. This creates constant and optimal temperature and humidity conditions that promote uniform and healthy queen development.

This method has proven particularly effective in professional queen rearing, including among Italian breeders. It enables reliable planning of emergence times, even under unstable weather conditions. Another advantage is the ability to mark queens before introducing them into colonies, simplifying later colony management. For good acceptance, it is recommended to introduce the queen within four days after emergence.

Professional Drying of Flower Pollen

The incubator can be equipped with special shelves made of food-grade micro-mesh, allowing uniform and hygienic drying of flower pollen. This function provides significant added value for beekeepers who wish to process, store, or market pollen professionally.

Controlled conditions ensure a high-quality, durable end product, preserving pollen structure, color, and nutrients as effectively as possible.

Gentle Liquefaction of Crystallized Honey

By setting a constant temperature of 40 °C, crystallized honey can be gently liquefied inside the incubator. Jars or buckets are placed directly inside the unit. Uniform heating preserves both the nutritional and organoleptic properties of the honey.

MINI LED ADVANCED Thermostat – Precise Professional-Level Control

All models are equipped as standard with the MINI LED ADVANCED thermostat. This control system is based on a powerful microprocessor and a self-calibrating temperature and humidity sensor.

High control accuracy of ± 0.1 °C for temperature and ± 1.5% for relative humidity enables precise control of all processes.

In combination with the automatic ultrasonic humidifier, humidity is regulated fully automatically via the MINI LED ADVANCED electronic control unit. Regulation is based on detected and preset humidity values. The programmable relative humidity range is between 20 and 90% RH, ensuring precise adaptation to different applications.

Operation and Safety

It is recommended to operate the incubator at least 24 hours before use to verify correct temperature regulation. The recommended incubation temperature for queen bees is 33.3 °C. The ventilation system runs continuously to ensure uniform temperature distribution throughout the interior.

All models comply with applicable EEC electrical safety directives. The externally mounted control panel protects electronic components from moisture and condensation.
