Each nucleus colony consists of a well developed, balanced bee population with a beekeeping station mated Carnica queen that is already established and laying within the colony.
The Carnica honey bee (Apis mellifera carnica) is one of the most popular and widely kept bee subspecies in Europe. Supplied on Simplex Frames Dutch Standard Size
The nucleus colony is supplied on 5 wired Simplex frames in the Dutch standard size (435 × 218 mm) and is fully compatible with Simplex hive systems. The frames are pre-wired, providing a stable foundation for further comb building. Thanks to the standardized dimensions, the frames can be seamlessly integrated into existing Simplex hives without any modifications.
