Optimal Conditions for Queen Rearing
The incubators allow the controlled completion of the queen cell development cycle from the fifth day after grafting until shortly before emergence. During this critical phase, the incubator ensures stable temperature and humidity conditions, promoting uniform development and strong, vital queens.
This method has proven particularly effective for professional queen breeders, as it allows precise control of emergence timing independent of external weather conditions. Queens can be marked immediately after emergence before being introduced into colonies. For optimal acceptance, it is recommended to introduce the queens within four days after emergence.
High-Quality Pollen Drying under Controlled Conditions
With optional shelving systems made of food-grade micro-mesh, the incubator can also be used for professional pollen drying. Uniform air circulation ensures gentle drying while preserving the structure, color, and nutritional components of the pollen.
This function is ideal for beekeepers who process pollen for personal use or commercial sale and require consistent, high-quality results.
Gentle Honey Liquefaction
Crystallized honey can be safely and evenly liquefied in the incubator at a constant temperature of 40 °C. Honey jars or buckets can be placed directly inside the unit. The gentle heating process preserves the nutritional, aromatic, and sensory properties of the honey.
As crystallization is a natural process that typically occurs when honey is stored below 14–15 °C, the incubator provides a professional solution for returning honey to a liquid state without compromising quality.

MINI LED ADVANCED Thermostat Precise Control at the Highest Level
All models of the APICOLTURA series are equipped with the MINI LED ADVANCED thermostat. This modern control system combines a powerful microprocessor with a self-calibrating temperature and humidity sensor.
In combination with the automatic ultrasonic humidifier, the MINI LED ADVANCED electronic control unit regulates humidity fully automatically based on the detected and preset values. The programmable relative humidity range is between 20 and 90% RH, allowing precise adjustment to different operating conditions.
Control accuracy is ± 0.1 °C for temperature and ± 1.5% for relative humidity.

Operating Instructions and Safety
Before commissioning, it is recommended to preheat the incubator for at least 24 hours to ensure correct temperature regulation. For queen cell incubation, a temperature of 33.3 °C is recommended. The ventilation system operates continuously to ensure uniform temperature distribution.
All models comply with current EEC directives for electrical safety. The externally mounted control panel reliably protects electronic components from moisture and condensation.
